The Role
As a Backend Web Developer at Playbook, you'll be working on the Playbook Hub as well as the Playbook Figma Plugin and will construct backend architecture that ties together the immersive and desktop Playbook experiences.
As an early engineer, you'll be staked in the product right from the beginning. You'll have the opportunity to own features at every point of the product lifecycle from ideation to production. You will also be a partner in shaping the culture of our engineering organization and the company as a whole.
Required Skills
- Strong web fundamentals including HTML/CSS, JS (Node, React, and relevant libraries)
- Fluency in React JS / Typescript / GraphQL, YAML, AWS serverless/Lambda step functions, and MySQL
- You can easily navigate backend architectures and have proven experience in data architecture and designing efficient and scalable data models
Compensation
- $70k - $100k / yearly depending on experience
Nice To Have Skills
- Experience with Figma Plugin development
- Experience with Next.js, Vercel, Supabase
- Fluency in Unity development (C#)
